Amy Edwards Textiles

The focus of this project is decorative pattern from world textiles. I combine hand cut woodblock prints merged with digitally manipulated layers of my designs. I am inspired by intricate and colourful pattern, especially within international cultures. I have passion for reinterpreting these traditional patterns into new contemporary designs, reinventing them into new geometric's. Aiming to create a textile collection full of pattern, repeat and colour.
